The Dr. kicked my husband out of the office when he questioned a procedure the doctor wanted to perform that would rule out a bladder problem when he'd already agreed my husband had an enlarged prostate. He kept the co-pay and said he couldn't have a copy of his medical records.

Excellent Physician
Dr. Stike has always treated me with professionalism and compassion. He takes his time to answer all my questions. He never seems rushed. Additionally, I’ve never had to wait more than 30 minutes to see him. I’m very happy with West Texas Urology and Dr Stike!

Dr. Stike didn't bother to read the CD that I was asked to bring, he didn't bother to read the print out of the CD I brought, and he didn't bother to read my admission paperwork before my appointment. He only seemed concerned with sticking his finger in my butt which I refused. $25.00 co-pay. I found out via the internet that Michael Jackson's monkey would stick his finger in my butt for a ten spot. If I did my research, I could have saved $15.00... Live and learn...

Absolutely love this man! After going through a living hell with Dr. Hughes, I got into him and it was night and day. He was informative, he listened, and took me seriously. I was pregnant when I first came to him and he said his wife was an OBGY so he'd ask her before giving me anything and I had total trust in him. Had to have some scar tissue broken up in my ureter and the whole process was quick and easy and SO much better than with Hughes!

Dr. Stike is thorough, but he doesn't like to answer questions. He gave me a diagnosis, but he didn't give me any direction about what to do about it. More recently I have seen only his PA. She was dismissive and condescending. She completely misdiagnosed my condition. She never once said she would consult with Dr. Stike. When her misdiagnosis became apparent, she didn't bother making a five minute phone call to talk to me about it. I see a different urologist now.

Dr Stike is knowledgeable, but guidance was poor. His staff needs improvement as well. There is no call reminders or follow ups. Cold bed side manner. I wish they had a nurse navigator program to guide patients on options.

Diagnosed with low grade, non muscle invasive bladder cancer. Dr. Stike performed TURBT surgery to remove a papallary tumor. He was very professional, knowledgeable and answered all our questions in a timely manner. Dr. Stike seems very concerned about my well being and I feel very confident about my continued care post surgery.
