Biography: Dr. Nelson was born in Chicago, the youngest of four children and the only daughter. She moved to Atlanta, Ga., as a child. Inspired by her desire to help others and her interest in healthcare, she received her undergraduate education at Emory University, receiving a bachelor of science in chemistry, which paved the way for her interest in medicine. She then attended Sint Eustatius University School of Medicine in the Netherland Antilles, where she obtained a bachelor of science in medicine followed by her medical degree. Biography: Dr. Randall White, Jr. was born and raised in the Shreveport-Bossier area. Taking advantage of the educational opportunities that Northwest Louisiana offers, he attended Caddo Magnet High School, Centenary College, (where he graduated with degrees in chemistry and economics), and LSU Health Shreveport for his Doctor of Medicine. He met his wife Dr. Ashley White, a fellow Shreveport-Bossier native and current pediatric resident, while attending Centenary College. Dr. White completed his residency in pediatrics at LSU Health Shreveport. He was awarded the Outstanding Intern Award during his first year of residency. His final year of residency, he served as chief resident and was awarded the Outstanding Resident Award at graduation. After completing his residency in pediatrics, Dr. White joined the Willis-Knighton Health System and co-founded WK Preferred Pediatrics. Dr. White believes that the pediatrician's role is to be an ally with parents, helping them care for their children in times of wellness and illness. He desires to be an advocate for his patients whether they be infants, young children, or adolescents. After graduating from Centenary College in 2003, I attended LSU Medical School in Shreveport and remained there for my Pediatric internship and residency. I joined the practice at Willis-Knighton South Center for Pediatrics after completing my residency in 2012. I am certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and I am currently a member of the Northwest Louisiana Pediatric Society and the Shreveport Medical Society. Biography: I grew up in Georgia, Virginia and Tennessee. I attended Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia and Tennessee Wesleyan College in Athens, Tennessee, getting my undergraduate degree in Chemistry. I then went to medical school at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Memphis Tennessee. I did my Pediatric residency at T C Thompson Children's Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee. I was a Captain in the Air Force for 3 years as a Pediatric Clinic Physician at Barksdale Air Force Base before joining this clinic in 1997. I am married with 3 children, and we live in Bossier City. I love to travel, exercise and read.

I completed a master's degree in Public Health in Epidemiology at Tulane University in New Orleans before enrolling at LSU Health Sciences Center- Shreveport for my internship and residency training in pediatrics. For five years I worked as a pediatric emergency room physician at another hospital, which offered me a wealth of experience. Biography: I have been practicing general pediatrics in the Shreveport area for more than 25 years. I am of Indian origin and went to medical school at the Christian Medical College (an American mission institution) in Punjab, India. I did my Pediatric Internship at Jackson Memorial Hospital at University of Miami in Florida. I then moved to Chattanooga, Tennessee with my husband and completed my Pediatric Residency there. This was followed by 2 years of Ambulatory Pediatric Fellowship at Cleveland's Case Western University. I am Board Certified in Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics, and I was re-certified in 1997 and 2009 and MOC Cerified in 2014. I live with my husband, who is a practicing Cardiologist in Shreveport. We have two sons, one living in Washington, DC. with his wife, and the other living in California. In my free time, I enjoy traveling and cooking for friends and family.
