Retina/Uveitis Consulttx PA

Dr. Scales referred me to a Neurologist. After seeing the Neurologist, he referred me back to Dr. Scales saying they both agreed that I would need a biopsy. An appointment was made & I went back to Dr. Scales for a biopsy. After waiting almost 2 hrs, I saw Dr. Scales who looked in both of my eyes & then told me he was referring me to another ophthalmologist for a biopsy. When I said I thought he was supposed to do this, Dr. Scales told me that he did not do biopsies which is why he was referring me to someone else. I questioned why the Neurologist didn't just refer me to that Ophthalmologist directly & Dr. Scales said the Neurologist did not know this Ophthalmologist. When I asked what a biopsy entailed, Dr. Scales said he didn't know which is why he was referring me to someone else. I told him I did not believe he could not explain this procedure to me. Dr. Scales was rude, abrupt, cold & displayed a nonchalant attitude towards me and my condition. Dr. Scales is only abt $$.
