Providers vs office staff
My family sees Dr. Gaylord and he is 5 stars all the way. We've been seeing him since 1998. In that time, I have seen the practice grow and change, sometimes, not always for the better. Most if my negative experiences have been with the office staff. Unprofessional and downright rude, in some cases, it is a game of chance when you call. I give an internal sigh of relief when I hear certain voices, now, because I know I won't have to deal with an attitude while trying to get something done. The thing is, if there are so many incidents that the practice feels the need to send out letters asking for patients not to yell at the staff, then perhaps the problem is with the staff and not the patients. Look at the other ratings and reviews. People love their providers, but have all sorts of problems with the staff. The practice is losing patients and there's a common denominator they seem to be ignoring.

Just don't
Bottom line, they take their general and family Med patients for granted. They expect you to arrive early and then sit around until they have time to see you......regardless of when your appointment was, and are outraged when you call them out on it. My last two appointment (one Office one Tel Med) I left after waiting over a half an hour. I get it, flexibility is important: 5-10, min I have no problem with. After 15 min, its frankly rude and and after 30 it's down right disrespectful. When my provider called my after my last appointment...which she did not show up for (Tel Med), over a half and hour after the fact, saying that 'Sometimes I get behind' (Note: this has been the third time she has gotten 'behind') I stated that her inability to handle her case load is not my problem. At this point I was INVITED to find another provider....I intend to do so.
