Living so long with a mentalDisability and finding I’m bipolar, I was relieved. To knowThat I was totally out of control in Many ways. I’m having to face people and ownWhat I’ve done. I feel awakeAnd conspicuously taking each day to realize not everyone is Trying to hurt me , in my mind.Therapy Helps me. Keeps meFrom reverting into the old suspicions that ruled and caused me to lose so many friends. The Dr and Counselor Are on MY team. My medications, and My teamWorks. I have to work on myThoughts too. Some days are Hard, but now it’s not everyday! Thinking, forgiveness of myself, being open to what my struggles are, and talking them through with someone who cares is Key. Because Living is my goal.
