I hope to never come across her again. I was a labor transfer from a birth center and was coerced and forced to have what I personally believe to be an unnecessary and undermedicated c-section. I was told my Dr.Fitzhugh I was going to be allowed to labor in the OR. I assumed other methods would be used to help deliver my baby but the moment we got in and my husband and I were separated the nurse asked what position she wanted me to labor in and Dr. Fitzhugh informed her that she was performing a c-section instead of allowing me to labor. I was NOT consulted, no one explained anything to me, they transferred me, held me down, and I was TOLD they were performing a c-section.
