Dr. Kyle Lester joined the Urology Group in 2023. He was born and raised in Bluefield, WV. His interest for medicine began at an early age as the son of a small-town general surgeon. He earned a bachelor of arts in German and a minor in Economics from Sewanee and went on to complete medical school at the Edward Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Lester was active in the Student Osteopathic Surgical Association acting as the vice president for the local chapter, and graduated magna cum laude. He completed his urological surgery residency at the Einstein Healthcare Network in Philadelphia, PA in 2019. He received excellent training in all aspects of urology, particularly endourology, prosthetics and reconstruction, oncology and general urology. His training also included time at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and Fox Chase Cancer Center. After residency, he completed an additional year of fellowship training in robotics and urologic oncology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation Florida in 2020. His robotics training was primarily focused on robotic radical prostatectomy and kidney surgery. After fellowship Dr. Lester accepted a position in 2020 with the Central Ohio Urology Group located in Columbus, OH. He spent two and half years with the practice before moving back to Virginia. Dr. Lester and his wife are excited to be closer to family and friends. Dr. Lester prides his practice on shared decision making and spending time with patients. His areas of interest include general urology, transperineal prostate biopsy, robotic kidney and prostate surgery, surgical management of stone disease and minimally invasive BPH. He resides in Northern Virginia with his wife and two children. Dr. Lester enjoys soccer, snow skiing, running, the outdoors, triathlons, German culture and spending time with family.

Dr. Tran joined The Urology Group in 2017. She strives to provide her patients with the best possible urologic outcome through a combination of technical excellence, clinical acumen, and compassionate care. Her special interests are in minimally invasive surgery and urologic oncology. She specializes in da Vinci robotic surgery as well as open surgical techniques for the treatment of prostate, bladder, kidney, ureteral, and adrenal cancers. She also has expertise in complex urinary reconstruction, ureteral reconstruction, and pelvic organ prolapse surgery. She is adept in the medical and surgical management of benign urologic issues including stone disease, male and female urinary incontinence, prostate enlargement, and erectile dysfunction.

Dr. Kinnari Kennedy joined The Urology Group in 2021. She was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio. She earned her Bachelor of Science at Pennsylvania State University and then attended Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University. In medical school she was elected to the Gold Humanism Honor Society as well as the AOA Honor Society, and graduated magna cum laude.Dr. Kennedy completed urologic surgery residency in 2021. She had a diverse training experience in traditional and minimally invasive techniques at the University of Pennsylvania, including time at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Dr. Kennedy has a broad clinical background in general urology, but is particularly interested in female urology, voiding dysfunction and interpretation of urodynamic studies. She is skilled in the medical and surgical management of incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, and overactive bladder.Dr. Kennedy lives in Vienna, VA with her husband. They enjoy cooking, playing board games and hiking together.
