Dr. Maggio started Renewal Dermatology & MedSpa in the summer of 2012, having recently retired from a career in military medicine spanning three decades. He served as a faculty researcher and physician in the country's third largest dermatology residency training program for 15 of those years. He loves to teach and learn. Colonel Maggio is a combat veteran who has practiced dermatology all over the world but regards Virginia as his home, where he met his wife 25 years ago. They raised their five children in the Commonwealth. He enjoys running, hiking, swimming and gardening.Dr. Maggio specializes in the surgical treatment of skin cancer, as he is both fellowship trained in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and board certified in Dermatology. He also has advanced training in laser and cosmetic dermatology, especially facial rejuvenation. He looks forward to applying his skills to address your skin problems and concerns with the dignity and respect you deserve.

Dr. Colombo is a board-certified dermatologist and native of Brazil, fluent in both Portuguese and Spanish. She has been practicing dermatology in the DC area since 2011.

Dr. Van T Ha graduated cum laude from Georgetown University. He received his medical degree from Duke University and fellowship in Dermatology at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
