My research has been published on the subject of chemotherapy effects on tooth enamel for which I am a recipient of the 2014 3M ESPE Healthy Smiles, Healthy Children research fellowship grant. I truly believe a pediatric dentist can positively affect a child's life by introducing good oral hygiene at an early age, along with preventing tooth decay which can be difficult to address later in life. Children thrive when they have a great oral health foundation. Prior to attending dental school I lived in Charlotte; working as a hygienist in a pediatric dental office. That is where I learned there is so much joy in helping kids. I also fell in love with the city - so much so that I named my daughter Charlotte! I enjoy spending time with my husband and daughter, along with extended family.
