Board-certified in radiation oncology, she has extensive expertise in various treatment options; including stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), three-dimensional conformal radiation therapy (3D-CRT), intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT), and low-dose-rate (LDR) brachytherapy, proton therapy, intraoperative radiation therapy, and hyperthermia. Committed to service in the community, Dr. Grann serves on the Board of Trustees for Saint Barnabas Medical Center and is a Clinical Assistant Professor in Radiation Oncology at the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey, part of Rutgers Robert Wood-Johnson University Medical School. Prior to Saint Barnabas Medical Center, Dr. Grann practiced at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in Manhattan where she worked in the Department of Radiation Oncology. Dr. Grann graduated cum laude from George Washington University in Washington, DC, followed by her medical degree at the George Washington University School of Medicine. She completed residencies in internal medicine at Harvard Medical School, Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, Mass., and in radiation oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York, N.Y. where she served as Chief Resident. A thought-leader in the field of radiation oncology, Dr. Grann is committed to research and has served as principal investigator on several different clinical trials. She has completed over 20 research projects, publications, conference proceedings, abstracts, and book chapters. In addition, she is a member of numerous medical organizations including American Society for Therapeutic Radiology Oncology, American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Medical Association, Metropolitan Breast Group and Society of Breast Diseases.
