Dr. Gordon's research interests and contributions have focused upon healthcare delivery systems evaluation, consumer health information technology, bioinformatics, HIV and Hepatitis C care and prevention. Recent work has focused upon understanding and improving HIV and HCV care and prevention services through IT enabled institutional care cascades, EHR enhanced HIV risk assessment, and health information exchange event notification for people living with HIV and HCV who are lost to care. He has authored or co-authored over 30 scientific articles on topics ranging from HIV prevention, workforce development, HIV testing, therapeutics, and bioinformatics. He currently is the Principle Investigator on a number of CDC, NIH, HRSA, and NYC DOHMH HIV research and service delivery grants.
