Dr Lazarides received his MD degree from Duke University Medical School. He completed an Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at Duke University Medical Center, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr Lazarides most recently completed an Orthopaedic Oncology Fellowship at Mount Sinai Hospital-University of Toronto, Division of Orthopaedic Surgery, in Toronto, Canada. Dr Lazarides specializes in treating pediatric and adult patients with benign or malignant bone or soft tissue tumors of the musculoskeletal system. His focus is the treatment of sarcomas as well as benign tumors and metastatic bone disease.

Dr David Joyce is an Assistant Member in the Sarcoma Department. Dr Joyce earned his MD degree from Case Western Reserve University, Case School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. He completed an Orthopaedic Residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio and an Orthopaedic Trauma Fellowship at Vanderbilt University, Nashville, Tennessee. He most recently completed a Musculoskeletal Oncology Fellowship at Moffitt Cancer Center.

Dr G Douglas Letson is executive vice president of clinical affairs and physician-in-chief at Moffitt Cancer Center, as well as prior chair of the Sarcoma Department. In addition, he is a professor of surgery, radiology and orthopaedics at the University of South Florida. As an orthopaedic oncology surgeon, Dr Letson's research and clinical interests include: novel therapeutic agents to treat sarcoma limb salvage for bone and soft tissue tumors as well as segmental prosthesis, new hinge designs and soft tissue attachment for metallic prosthesis. Dr Letson has a keen interest in new techniques and design of instrumentation for minimal invasive reconstructive surgery.
