Shoulder replacement surgery both sides
Last year someone recommend Dr Butler for my horrible shoulders pain. Tried everything 100's of spray and roll on and cortisone shot's. At our first meeting I explained that I am a retired motorcycle road racer and it hurts moving my bike around at 170-180 mph and I don't want to stop doing my sport. He recommended Anatomic shoulder replacement because after 4 months I won't have any restrictions. 8-29-24 He did my left side. It was a great experience NO pain except physical therapy because the right side was still hurting . 2 months later I was able to setting on my bike again Feb 4th 2025 he did the right side. OH what a beautiful feeling it was. NO More pain even the physical therapy didn't hurt much anymore. Dr Butler and his crew are a God blessing. A professional loving and caring team. I am now 2 months in the second shoulder surgery and I am already trying to sit on my bike. Dr Butler gave my life back and able to resume my childhood sport at my age of 74 ! Danke schöne !

Excellent Care
Dr. Butler was professional and communicated very well in regards to my shoulder. The booklet they provide when you have surgery scheduled was informative and very well put together. It was great to have a reference and information when I was home recovering. I would highly recommend Dr. Butler and his staff.

Poor Patient Care at the St Pete Office
I had a beyond terrible experience with this office. I went in on Jan 2 with extreme hip and leg pain ( I am 40 years old). The PA ordered an MRI, but United needed more info to approve it. I waited a week to learn it was denied because the office hadn't provided the necessary info. I left multiple urgent messages with their call center (avg hold time was 23 min) , I never got a call back. Desperate, I returned on Jan 9 in severe pain (they offered me a wheelchair). The PA said she’d call United to resolve the issue, but nothing changed. They also delayed sending my prescription until I called again. By Jan 13, United still hadn’t approved the MRI due to incomplete notes. I left more messages and never heard back. On Jan 14, I canceled my follow-up and went to a new doctor, who resolved more in one visit than weeks of dealing with this office. I ended up paying for the MRI out of pocket. Being in pain and ignored like this was utterly defeating. I do not recommend this practice.

Doesn't do hip issues
When scheduling my appointment I was asked for the reason. I specifically mentioned I have a torn hip labrum. At my appointment Dr Butler then informed me that he'll refer me to another doctor in Tampa that does hips. Not only did this appointment waste my time but also my insurance and my copay for this visit that didn't result in anything. It's terrible when offices gladly book a patient just to collect money knowing that the patient's issue is not something they can actually help with.

Orthopaedic Medical Group
I called Orthopaedic Medical Group and asked to see a foot surgeon.Orthopaedic Medical Group made me an appointment to see Dr Robert Butler the next day. When I went to the appointment I was not told that I would not be seen by Dr Butler but only by a physician assistant.Looking at Dr Butler's profile I see that he is not even a foot surgeon.

This is my new orthopedic surgeon!
Found Dr. Butler thanks to a referral from my previous surgeon who was relocating out of state. Had my first appointment yesterday. He carefully reviewed my x-ray and MRI results, gave my shoulders a careful examination, and provided a cortisone shot to one shoulder. (Both have severe arthritis, but the condition has thus far been managed in both with regular injections every 3-4 months). He also carefully explained what type of replacement surgery would be best for me at such time as my condition warrants. Truly happy to have found him.

Exceptional surgical experience. I have had numerous surgeries and the shoulder replacement has hardly left any scar, there was very little pain and minimal recuperation.

Due to torn labrum, bicep, shredded rotator cuff and my age Dr Butler performed a reverse shoulder replacement. Just had my 3 month visit and my shoulder is recovering better than expected. Great surgeon, great PA team. Highly recommend Dr Butler

This was my fourth rotator repair. 2 prior ones at Florida Medical, one in May of 2020 at Florida Orthopedic. All of which failed. I turned to Dr. Butler, who performed a reconstruction in November of 2020. Where the other surgeons and associated Physical Therapy staffs could not solve the issue, Dr. Butler, in trying this new technique, and the associated PT, have resulted in greater range of motion, and less pain, in a shorter period of time than FMC and FOI could ever do. I am grateful for the professionalism and follow-up from his office also. Wait times to see Dr. Butler are minimum, whereas at FMC and FOI the wait times ranged from 30 minutes to three hours (not a misprint). I'd highly recommend this skilled surgeon.

Highly recommend Dr. Bryan Butlet! He is very professional and answers all questions we had, providing all beneficial information and took such a good care through my mom’s surgery and the whole recovery process. Dr. Butler performed distal bicep tendon repair on my left arm. This was to treat a torn bicep tendon. Everything about Dr. Butler's approach was perfect for me. He went above and beyond throughout the process. I tore my bicep on the first night of vacation in the Keys. Dr. Butler made the time to speak to me about the injury while I was still on vacation, before I was his patient. He answered all of my questions thoroughly which allowed me to enjoy the rest of my vacation. I visited another very reputable practice before selecting Dr. Butler as my surgeon. The overall cost was substantially lower with Dr. Butler and his surgery center. He and his practice had my best interests in mind. The surgery center and staff were excellent. I could tell the surgery center staff had a good working relationship with Dr. Butler, which is very important. I highly recommend Dr. Butler.

The best orthopedic surgeon in the U.S.A. He did massive rotator cuff surgery repair. Even though, the shoulder should have been replace according to the damage. I am 3 months out and I have almost full use of my shoulder.
