Dr. Ross was born in Saint Paul, Minnesota and grew up in the Twin Cities. After graduating with Summa Cum Laude with Honors and Highest Distinction from the University of Minnesota, Dr. Ross obtained his medical degree from the prestigious Harvard Medical School. He then completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the world-renowned Washington University in St. Louis, where he trained under the tutelage of leaders in the field of orthopedic surgery. He developed his passion for sports medicine while working with the St. Louis Rams and St. Louis Blues. Dr. Ross also worked along with leaders in the field of joint preservation surgery, which also sparked his research in hip preservation. Alexander Gaukhman, M.D., M.S., is an orthopedic surgeon at the Orthopedic Institute at Boca Raton Regional Hospital, a part of Baptist Health South Florida. Dr. Gaukhman specializes in total joint replacement surgery. Dr. Gaukhman joined the Orthopedic Institute from the NYU Langone Medical Center/Hospital for Joint Diseases and the Insall Scott Kelly (ISK) Institute, where he completed an adult reconstruction fellowship. Dr. Gaukhman, a first-generation American, immigrated to the United States with his family at the age of 6 and grew up in North Florida. He earned his medical degree from Florida State University College of Medicine, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Boston University, known as one of New England's busiest trauma hospitals, under the auspices of Drs. Paul Tornetta III and Thomas Einhorn. Dr. Shenassa grew up in Long Island, New York and attended New York University for his undergraduate studies. After NYU, Dr, Shenassa studied medicine in Haifa, Israel at the Technion Institute of Technology Faculty of Medicine. He returned to New York to complete his surgical residency training at North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System, an affiliate of the NYU/ Albert Einstein Schools of Medicine.
