He attended Pennsylvania College of Optometry (PCO), a school well-known for its long standing history for excellence in modern optometry. While attending PCO, Dr. Hoffert received various clinical honors as well as a Presidential scholarship and the H.L. Goldberger Memorial scholarship for academic performance. He graduated from PCO with a B.S. in Visual Sciences and a Doctorate of Optometry.
