Dr Pimiento earned his MD degree at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia. He completed a general surgery residency at Saint Mary's Health System/Affiliated Yale University School of Medicine and a Fellowship in Surgical Research in Vascular Surgery at Yale University School of Medicine. He then completed a Fellowship in Surgical Oncology and Advanced Fellowship in Surgical Oncology Research at Moffitt Cancer Center. Dr Pimiento joined Moffitt from Mercy Health Partners/Mercy Health-St. Mary's and served as the Medical Director, Surgical Oncology at the Lacks Cancer Center. Dr Pimiento's clinical interest is in malignancies of the upper gastrointestinal tract, including esophageal, gastric, pancreatic, colorectal and liver cancers.

Dr Hodul is a Senior Member and Surgical Oncologist within the Department of Gastrointestinal Oncology and Medical Director of Nutrition at Moffitt Cancer Center. She is also a Professor in the Division of Oncologic Sciences through the University of South Florida. Previously she graduated Magna Cum Laude from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine and completed her general surgery residency at Loyola University Medical Center. She then went on to complete both a clinical and research fellowship at Moffitt Cancer Center in Surgical Oncology. Dr Hodul's clinical practice is focused in the areas of pancreaticobiliary and gastrointestinal surgery.

Dr Amalia Stefanou is as an Assistant Member in the Department of Gastrointestinal Oncology at Moffitt Cancer Center. Dr Stefanou previously worked at Henry Ford Medical Group/Henry Ford Hospital and Wayne State University School of Medicine, where she achieved the rank of Assistant Professor. Dr Stefanou received her MD degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine, Detroit, Michigan, and she completed a Residency in General Surgery at Henry Ford Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident. Dr Stefanou then completed a Colon and Rectal Surgery Residency Training Program at Cook County Hospital/University of Illinois, Chicago.

Dr Andrew Sinnamon is a Surgical Oncologist within the Department of Gastrointestinal Oncology at Moffitt Cancer Center. He completed both medical school and General Surgery residency training at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. During residency he completed a research fellowship studying outcomes for surgical oncology patients. He also obtained a Masters in Clinical Epidemiology during this time. Dr Sinnamon then completed further fellowship training in Complex General Surgical Oncology at Moffitt, and has since joined the Department of Gastrointestinal Oncology. Dr Sinnamon's clinical interests include caring for patients with diseases of the pancreas, stomach, and esophagus.

Dr. Taveras' goal is to develop strong, meaningful relationships with her pediatric patients and their families. Ajay Patel MD is a board certified general surgeon vascular surgeon and bariatric medicine physician who has been in practice since 1999 He was valedictorian of his class at Brandon Senior High School in Brandon Fla and earned his Bachelor of Science degree with honors at the University of Miami in Coral Gables He graduated from the University of Miami School of Medicine and then undertook his general surgery residency at Greenville Memorial Hospital in Greenville S C where he earned the Joseph C McAlhany Award for Resident of the Year three consecutive years and completed his tenure as Academic Chief Resident He next completed advanced fellowship training in vascular surgery at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis Dr Patel s special clinical interests include minimally invasive endovascular surgery peripheral vascular angiography wound care arterio venous fistulas and grafts and the surgical correction of abdominal aortic aneurysms

Dr. Mino is a fellowship-trained colorectal surgeon specializing in diseases of the colon, rectum, and anus in addition to his general surgery interests. Dr. Mino obtained his Bachelors degrees at Wheaton College with majors in Biology, Economics, and Theology. He attended medical school at Rutgers University in New Jersey where he received the concomitant degrees of Medical Doctor and a Masters of Public Health. He did his general surgery residency at Cleveland Clinic of Ohio and stayed on for his fellowship in minimally invasive colorectal surgery. Dr. Mino is double board certified in both General Surgery and Colon and Rectal Surgery and is a member of both the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons. He has published multiple peer-reviewed articles in both fields and presented at numerous national conferences. Dr. Mino's particular areas of interest include laparoscopic and robotic treatment for colorectal cancer, diverticulitis, inflammatory bowel disease, as well as pelvic floor dysfunctions including rectal prolapse, fecal incontinence, and rectoceles. He also treats anorectal pathology including fissures, fistulas, hemorrhoids, perianal abscesses, and condylomas.
