He held Staff/Attending Urologist privileges at UF Health Shands Hospital and the Malcom Randall VA Medical Center as part of an adjunct-faculty appointment in the Department of Urology. In this role, his practice included many of the most challenging urologic conditions in the southeast, with an emphasis on complex kidney stone management. His commitment to patient-centered care and clinical/surgical excellence was recognized as he was peer-elected to the UF Chapter of the Arnold P. Gold Humanism in Medicine Honor Society at the conclusion of his UF appointment. His research has been published in several major urologic journals and textbooks in the areas of prostate cancer, kidney cancer, urologic reconstruction and kidney stone disease.
