Lourdes T Santiago, M.D. received her medical degree from the Ponce School of Medicine in Ponce, Puerto Rico, and completed her internship and residency in General Surgery at the University of South Florida. Dr. Santiago also completed both a fellowship and research fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery at the University of South Florida. An advocate for education, Dr. Santiago gives regular presentations on the topics of colon and rectal cancers, including education reaching the Spanish-speaking population.
