Dr. Gualberto is a board-certified member of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is triple board certified in Neurology, Neurocritical Care and Epilepsy. He did undergrad at University of Missouri-Kansas City. He completed his internship at West Virginia University Hospital and fulfilled his residency training in Neurology at University of Miami Miller School of Medicine/Jackson Memorial Hospital. He completed a Clinical Neurophysiology fellowship focusing on epilepsy also at University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. After fellowship he moved back to where he was born and raised, St. Louis, Missouri and practiced seeing general neurology and stroke. In addition, he had a special interest in treating patients with intractable epilepsy. He also ran a dedicated multidisciplinary sports concussion clinic with Cardinal Glennon Children's hospital which was St. Louis University School of Medicine's primary pediatric teaching hospital. He was the primary sports concussion physician for elite soccer clubs around St. Louis area. Since his move to San Diego, his primary focus is Neurohospitalist/Stroke Director at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas where he treats neurological emergencies and continues to manage patients with epilepsy. He has been published and has presented numerous papers. He is an active member of the American Academy of Neurology and American Epilepsy Society. In his spare time he enjoys playing basketball, tennis, skateboarding, cycling, attempting to surf, listening to music and watching all sports.

Dr. Oh joined the Neurology Center in 2009. She grew up and trained in Texas. She received her undergraduate degree at Rice University and medical degree at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School at Dallas. She completed her residency in Neurology and fellowship in Movement Disorders at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. She is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Oh has a special interest in Parkinson's disease and essential tremor. She is experienced in the management of deep brain stimulation for Parkinson's disease, essential tremor, and dystonia. She also is experienced in using botulinum toxin injections for dystonia and spasticity and in managing intrathecal baclofen pumps for spasticity. Dr. Oh has privileges at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas and Tri-City Medical Center at Oceanside. She works at our Carlsbad and Escondido offices. She is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and Movement Disorders Society.

Dr. Sahagian specializes in diagnosing and treating neuromuscular disorders such as Myasthenia Gravis, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), Neuropathy, Myopathy and Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. He is an expert in performing Electromyography/Nerve Conduction (EMG) studies and skin biopsies for nerve fiber analysis. He is active in the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine as the California State Liaison. Additionally, Dr. Sahagian is a medical advisory board member of the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of California. He also acted as Program Chairman of the San Diego Neurologic Society and has represented the Association of California Neurologists as a delegate to the California Medical Association and the American Medical Association. He has been a part of The Neurology Center for over 20 years and serves as the CEO. Dr. Sahagian has participated as an investigator for numerous clinical research studies as part of our longstanding clinical research center. Dr. Sahagian's care has led him to receive the San Diego Top Doctor award, Best Doctor award and The Patients' Choice Award.
