I am a member of the Dignity Health Medical Group-Northridge. Our medical group has been in the San Fernando Valley for 30 years, providing comprehensive family medicine to our patients. We have the great honor of being part of a family medicine residency program based at Dignity Health-Northridge Hospital Medical Center and affiliated with the UCLA David Geffin School of Medicine, where we act as teachers of Family Medicine. Our group places an emphasis on high-quality health care for our patients of all ages.

Dr. Thomas is double board certified in OB/GYN and Female Pelvic Medicine & Reproductive Surgery (FPMR&S). She earned her medical degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio and subsequently completed a residency in OB/GYN at the MD Anderson Cancer Center at the University of Texas in Houston, followed by a fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery at Los Angeles' Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. She also has a MPH from UCLA. Dr. Thomas spent a decade teaching at UCLA's David Geffen School of Medicine, jumping off the tenure track in 2000 to focus on treating patients in private practice and accelerating her ground-breaking research and charitable work. Dr. Thomas is currently leading FDA clinical trials for game-changing stem cell treatments in urinary and fecal incontinence. She also serves as a principal investigator for two of the 522 FDA studies using transvaginal mesh for the treatment of pelvic organ prolapse. For many years Dr. Thomas has taken her commitment to improve women's lives to Africa, where she provided physician training and free obstetric fistula repair surgery through a non-profit foundation she founded.
