Was better at one time. I dont believe in leaving patients in pain for over 10 days and not taking more xrays if you get worse after a cleaning. Try to find an answer if 1st set of xrays dont show anything. Try a nerve block or something to help your patient, not send them out of town. Need to have an emergency number for after hours and weekends.

Our family has been using Dr. Hinkel as a dentist since moving to Lafayette 27 years ago when he was at 10th and South St, downtown. What I appreciated the most when he moved to the Union St location was the fact that at the time, Dr. Hinkel chose an existing building rather than building an expensive new building for his practice. In addition he and his staff are very good at what they do and we have never had a complaint with their service.

The staff at Dr. Hinkle's office go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Dr. Hinkle is very gentle and explains everything before he does it. Dr. Hinkle has been the dentist for our family for over 35 years and through four generations.
