Care Philosophy: Dr. Stephen C. Ho grew up in the Orlando, Florida area. He received his undergraduate degree in 1992 with a B.S. in Biology at the University of California, Los Angeles, graduating summa cum laude. He attended medical school at the University of Chicago, graduating in 1996. Dr. Ho completed his dermatology residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2000 after having the honor to serve as Chief Resident during his last year of training.Dr. Ho is a board-certified Dermatologist who joined AboutSkin after practicing in Boulder County for over 12 years. He decided to move to Denver to be closer to his home following the arrival of his son in June 2012.Dr. Ho is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, as well as a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, and the Skin Cancer Foundation.

Care Philosophy: Dr. Stoler received her undergraduate degree in 1999 from the University of Michigan, where she majored in biology, graduated with honors and was also selected as a member of the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. She attended medical school at the State University of New York (SUNY) Downstate in Brooklyn and graduated magna cum laude in 2003. Dr. Stoler was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society as a junior medical student, which allowed her to serve as treasurer of the society. While at SUNY Downstate, Dr. Stoler also did basic science research on keratinocytes (skin cells) and the production of nitric oxide. Dr. Stoler completed her Dermatology residency at Cook County Hospital, Illinois, in 2007. At Cook County she cared for a diverse patient population, saw a wide range of diseases, and had an extensive hands-on experience. She has been an active member of the Chicago Dermatology Society, presenting on laser therapy, vasculitis, and other case reports. Dr. Stoler joined AboutSkin after practicing for 4 years in a large dermatology group in metropolitan Chicago. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Stoler was honored with a Patient's Choice Award (a rating for doctors, per patient review) in 2009. Originally from Westchester, New York, Dr. Stoler decided to stay in Chicago following her dermatology residency. During her 4 years at Dermatology Partners of the North Shore, she focused on medical and surgical dermatology with a special interest in teenagers and acne.Dr. Stoler is a committed and thoughtful practitioner, who prides herself on building meaningful relationships with her patients.

Biography: Dr. Christopher Messana obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and then graduated from Midwestern University, Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Messana's path as a physician leader formally began when his medical school peers elected him student government president. He was later honored to be elected national student government president and had the privilege of serving his profession as the student representative of the American Osteopathic Association in his final year of medical school. He completed his dermatology residency training at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan. After residency, he enjoyed a busy general and surgical dermatology practice in Northern Michigan for approximately three years. Dr. Messana was then selected from an exceptionally qualified pool of applicants to complete an additional year of fellowship training in Mohs micrographic surgery and dermatologic oncology at the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. In addition to his expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of all diseases of the skin, hair, and nails, Dr. Messana has particular interest and expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of all forms of skin cancer and specializes in skin cancer surgery and reconstruction. He is a member of the prestigious American College of Mohs Surgery. Dr. Messana is published in the dermatology literature and has presented on many topics in dermatology at national, international and state dermatology meetings, including the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology and the Michigan Dermatological Society. He currently serves on the Editorial Advisory Board to Dermatology World magazine, a publication of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Christopher Messana is married to Dr. Kate Messana and they have two beautiful daughters. He is passionate about providing the highest quality, most compassionate and cost-effective care for his patients using a team-based approach. Dr. Messana treasures his family, friends, and many outdoor recreation activities, including hiking, biking, skiing, running, and swimming. He has completed triathlons and a marathon and is excited to live with his family and provide world-class dermatology care in the Parker area.
