Biography: Jacob L. Freeman, MD, is a board certified Neurosurgeon caring for patients in Ocala, Florida and the surrounding area. Dr. Freeman received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Pepperdine University in 2002 and a Master of Science in Physiology and Biophysics from Georgetown in 2005. Dr. Freeman then went on to earn his medical degree from Georgetown in 2009. He completed his Residency in Neurological Surgery from the University of Colorado. The endoscope can also be used to explore the ventricular system (the fluid-filled spaces located deep within the brain) to biopsy tumors in this region and restore the normal flow of cerebrospinal fluid in patients with a condition called hydrocephalus. Dr. Freeman is a Member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, the Florida Neurological Society and the Marion County Medical Society. He is the author of multiple publications regarding endoscopic skull base and other neurological surgeries and procedures.

Biography: Dr. Toumbis is a board certified, fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in cervical, thoracic and lumbar surgery. After completing his residency at the University of Florida, Dr. Toumbis furthered his sub-specialty training in Spine Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic.He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is an active member of the North American Spine Society. Dr. Toumbis also works closely with industry leaders designing state of the art spinal implants.
