Biography: Scott Philipp, MD, FACS, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained general surgeon with Nutfield Surgical Associates in Derry, New Hampshire. Dr. Philipp earned his Doctor of Medicine at New York Medical College and completed his residency training in general surgery at University of CaliforniaSan Diego. He also completed a fellowship in minimally-invasive surgery at University of MissouriColumbia. Prior to his medical training, he graduated with honors from Boston University with a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology as well as a Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology and Anatomy.Dr. Philipp is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a Diplomat of the American Board of Surgery. He specializes in minimally-invasive and robotic surgeries, including adrenal, gastrointestinal, and abdominal wall reconstruction, among others. He is the former director of Robotic Surgery at Vallejo Medical Center and brings more than 20 years of expertise to Nutfield Surgical Associates. When not seeing patients, Dr. Philipp enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, hiking, camping, running, and swimming.
