Biography: Brett Armstrong, MD, is a board-certified general surgeon. Dr. Armstrong treats patients 18 and older and is bilingual in English and Spanish. He performs robot-assisted and minimally invasive surgeries such as appendectomies, hernia repair, cyst removal, gall bladder removal and more. Dr. Armstrong earned his undergraduate degree at Florida State University before attending medical school at FSU College of Medicine. He went on to complete a residency in general surgery at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah. Dr. Armstrong previously served as Director of Robotics and Chief of Surgery at St. Josephs Hospital-North in Tampa. Dr. Armstrong takes a thorough and precise approach to his consultations to ensure that he is consistently giving accurate diagnoses. He strives to make each patients visit a pleasant and pain-free experience, while providing whole person care. When hes not with patients, Dr. Armstrong enjoys fishing, water sports, football, running and traveling.??

Dr. Golkar received his undergraduate degree from Emory University in 2000 and obtained his medical degree from the University of South Florida in 2005. Later on, in 2005, Dr. Golkar began his residency in General Surgery and completed his Advanced GI Surgery/Hepato-pancreato-biliary Fellowship in 2011 at the University of South Florida.Dr. Golkar demonstrates exemplary skills and knowledge with years of service, while also providing high-quality care.
