Biography: This physician is accepting telehealth visits. Mahmoud N. Soubra, MD is a board-certified Internist and Gastroenterologist. He attended the American University of Beirut in Lebanon where he earned his medical degree and his B.S. in Biology. Dr. Soubra completed both his residency in internal medicine and his fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of Iowa. His areas of clinical interest include esophageal disorders, GERD, functional bowel disorders and colorectal cancer screening. Prior to joining The Austin Diagnostic Clinic, Dr. Soubra served patients at the University of Iowa hospital and also taught as a clinical assistant professor. Dr. Soubra also contributes his time to community service activities. He was part of a volunteer outreach clinic that provided healthcare and medical services for underserved areas in Lebanon. In his free time, Dr. Soubra enjoys books, travelling, running and skiing.
