Biography: Donald "Raj" Woolever, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician with Appledore Family Medicine and Pediatrics, an academic medicine clinic, in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. He is affiliated with Portsmouth Regional Hospital where he serves as the program director of the Family Medicine Residency. As an attending physician of an academic medicine clinic at Appledore Family Medicine and Pediatrics, he supervises resident physicians, training them to be the next generation of physician leaders. Dr. Woolever earned his Doctor of Medicine from University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry in Rochester, New York, and completed his residency training at the David Grant USAF Medical Center at Travis Air Force Base, California, where he served as chief resident. Following his residency, he fulfilled a fellowship at University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. In addition, Dr. Woolever served in the United States Air Force and also earned a Bachelor of Arts from Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts.Dr. Woolever is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and has more than 25 years of experience in practicing medicine. He provides primary care services to the whole family, caring for patients of all ages. In addition to his practice, Dr. Woolever has served numerous academic appointments at various universities and currently serves as clinical professor of Family Medicine at Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth and University of Vermont School of Medicine. He is the author of numerous peer-reviewed journal publications and book chapters related to the field of family medicine.Dr. Woolever is married to his wife who is also a family physician. They have two adult children who live in Nevada and London, England. He is a runner and has run seven marathons and one ultra-marathon. He also enjoys travelling and has spent a lot of time in India.

Biography: Derek Lee, DO, is a family medicine physician with Appledore Family Medicine and Pediatrics, an academic medicine clinic, in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. He is an attending physician as part of the Family Medicine Residency program affiliated with Portsmouth Regional Hospital where he also serves as a core faculty member. In this role, Dr. Lee supervises resident physicians, training them to be the next generation of physician leaders. Dr. Lee earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency training at Middlesex Health Family Medicine in Middletown, Connecticut, where he served as chief resident. Dr. Lee also earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.Dr. Lee has a special interest in LGBT health and serves on several committees including MH+ Pride Committee, Middlesex Health Transgender Health Committee, and Middlesex Health Residency Wellness Committee. Dr. Lee is a member of the American Academy of Osteopathic Family Physicians, American Academy of Family Physician, Osteopathic Cranial Academy, American Academy of Osteopathy, and Gold Humanism Honors Society. Dr. Lee practices osteopathic manipulation as part of his medical practice. He has interests in patient education to improve health literacy, lifestyle approach to health maintenance and addressing issues related to health equity. He has led many research and quality improvement projects, presented at numerous academic conferences, and been published in several peer-reviewed manuscripts and publications. When not working, Dr. Lee enjoys gardening, cooking, baking, travelling and playing with his dogs.
