Biography: David Michael Trueba, M.D., is an internal medicine physician at Baptist Health Primary Care. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in internal medicine and nephrology. He provides comprehensive primary care and has expertise in treating hypertension, chronic kidney disease, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, anemia and electrolyte imbalance.Dr. Trueba has more than 20 years of experience treating patients in outpatient and inpatient settings. He has held numerous leadership positions in the medical community, including president of the medical staff and chair of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee at Baptist Health Homestead Hospital.Dr. Trueba earned his medical degree at Universidad Central del Este Facultad de Medicina in the Dominican Republic.
