Biography: Dr. Bajakian comes to Columbia from Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City, where she was Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery. She earned her MD degree in 1996 at SUNY Downstate College of Medicine in Brooklyn. She completed her internship and general surgery residency at Mount Sinai (1996-2001), her vascular surgery fellowship at New York University Medical Center (2002-2003), and a mini-fellowship focusing on endovascular surgery at the Cleveland Clinic in 2003. Her clinical specialties include endovascular techniques for treating peripheral arterial disease, aortic aneurysms, carotid artery disease, and lower extremity venous insufficiency. Her research interests focus on novel techniques for restoring circulation to the ischemic limb including angioplasty, atherectomy, and stent placement.

Biography: Paul Yoffe, MD is a vascular surgeon at NYP Hudson Valley, NYP Westchester, and Columbia University campuses. After graduating from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Dr. Yoffe completed his general surgery residency and vascular surgery fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center. He is affiliated with Columbia University medical center. Dr. Yoffe specializes in treating aortic and carotid artery diseases, as well as peripheral vascular and venous disease.

Biography: Edvard Skripochnik, MD, is a vascular surgeon at NYP Westchester and is an assistant professor of Surgery at CUMC. He performs surgeries at NYP Westchester, NYP Hudson Valley and Columbia University campuses. After graduating from Albert Einstein College of Medicine with honors and academic excellence, Dr. Skripochnik served his integrated vascular surgery residency at Stony Brook University Hospital in New York. Dr. Skripochnik has been published in various medical journals, including Annals of Vascular Surgery, and has presented his research at medical conferences of the International Aortic Summit and Annual Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Society.
