Biography: Dr. Taskin joined Digestive Health Associates (now UM Shore Medical Group-Gastroenterology) in November 2000. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from West Virginia University. He is a graduate of West Virginia University School of Medicine. He completed a residency and internship at the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Pittsburgh. After receiving two master's degrees, Dr. Kunnackal John came to Baltimore, Maryland, where he completed his residency at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, following this with his fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He joined UM Shore Medical Group in 2018.

Abdulla earned both his M.D. and B.S. degrees from Arabian Gulf University School of Medicine in Bahrain. He served as a clinical intern at Salmaniya Medical Complex in Bahrain and completed his residency in internal medicine at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Ga. In addition to his clinical experience, Abdulla completed research training at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn.; the Medical College of Wisconsin; and the Medical College of Georgia.
