She received a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Neuroscience at Wellesley College, Boston, Massachusetts, then returned to Texas for her medical training. Dr. Holloway received her M.D. with Distinction in Research from the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio.Dr. Holloway completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio. During her training, she developed an interest in minimally invasive and robotic surgery, and completed research on the evaluation and teaching of OB/GYN residents' robotic surgical skills. Her research received an Honorable Mention award by the American Medical Association. During residency, she was also honored with the Arnold P. Gold Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award.Dr. Holloway chose a career in general Obstetrics and Gynecology because she enjoys caring for women of all ages.
