Early in my career I gained invaluable expertise by completing two separate intensive specialty training programs in complex shoulder surgery and sports medicine surgery. These fellowships, along with my ongoing focus upon staying current with the latest orthopaedic surgical techniques, allow me to achieve the best possible outcomes for my patients. Care Philosophy: Eric Alyea, DO, MPH, is an orthopedic surgeon with special interest in complex shoulder and elbow surgery. Dr. Alyea strives to provide the highest quality care using the latest techniques in an evidence based manner, and to serve patients through a collaborative, shared decision model developed through open and honest communication with the informed patient. Dr. Alyea is a candidate member of the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons and member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Arthroscopy Association of North America, Western Orthopaedic Association, Wilderness Medical Society, American Medical Association and American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics. Dr. Alyea was an assistant team physician for the Dallas Mavericks during the 2018-19 season. Outside of work, he enjoys golf, archery, snowboarding and other outdoor activities.

Care Philosophy: Dawson Brown, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with a special interest in sports medicine and open and complex shoulder reconstruction. _x000D_ Dr. Brown believes in giving his patients time; not only to adequately hear their symptoms, concerns and goals, but also to provide them education and insight into their condition so they can make informed decisions about their treatment. The best outcomes, whether surgical or non-surgical, depend on mutual respect and understanding, excellent technical ability, clinical acumen and shared accountability. _x000D_ Dr. Brown is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, Arthroscopy Association of North America and American Academy of Orthopedic Sports Medicine. _x000D_ Dr. Brown volunteers his time and expertise as the team physician for South Kitsap High School and Bainbridge High School, and serves on their Athletic Medicine advisory boards.
