Dr. Alyea is a candidate member of the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons and member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Arthroscopy Association of North America, Western Orthopaedic Association, Wilderness Medical Society, American Medical Association and American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics. Dr. Alyea was an assistant team physician for the Dallas Mavericks during the 2018-19 season. Outside of work, he enjoys golf, archery, snowboarding and other outdoor activities.

Early in my career I gained invaluable expertise by completing two separate intensive specialty training programs in complex shoulder surgery and sports medicine surgery. These fellowships, along with my ongoing focus upon staying current with the latest orthopaedic surgical techniques, allow me to achieve the best possible outcomes for my patients.
