Smith, MD, is a board certified Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiologist with HCA Florida West Cardiology Specialists at HCA Florida West Hospital in Pensacola, FL.Dr. Smith earned his medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine. He then went on to complete his Residency in Internal Medicine and and two Fellowships, one in Cardiovascular Disease and one in Cardiac Electrophysiology, from Wake Forest University Medical Center.Dr. Smith specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of heart arrythmia (irregular heartbeat) and offers services such as Ablation Procedures, Pacemaker and Defibrillator Implantation and Removal, LAA Closure, Epicardial Mapping, Cardiac Rhythm Monitoring and Echocardiography.
