Biography: Vivien Fongué, D.O., is an orthopedic surgeon with Miami Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Institute and member of Baptist Health Medical Group, an organization of more than 18 physicians in multiple specialties integrated within Baptist Health South Florida. He specializes in the non-surgical and surgical treatment of general, acute and chronic orthopedic conditions affecting the bones, joints and soft tissues, complex fractures, non-union and mal-union, posttraumatic reconstruction of upper and lower extremities, pelvic and actabulum fractures, and periprosthetic fractures. Dr. Fongué has special training in orthopedic trauma surgery, ranging from simple isolated fractures to multiple musculoskeletal injuries. He earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine, in Kansas City, Missouri.
