Biography: Dr. Khan has recently graduated from his Family Medicine Residency program in June of 2013. He is currently practicing at Springfield Medical Clinic.

Care Philosophy: My approach when I see a patient suffering from spine problem is to spend time with patients and listen carefuly to their story to try to pinpoint the exact source of the problem. I always recommend treatment conservatively with measures such as medications, physical therapy, and injection. If symptoms are severe and not responsive to conservative treatment, I am able to offer minimally invasive approaches to treat the problem whether through decompression alone or with fusion. I utilize the latest techniques in minimally invasive spine surgery which enable patients to recover quickly with no or brief hospital stay, minimal blood loss, minimal pain, and quick return to work or normal activity level. I always think of patients as if they are family members, only offering surgery to carefully selected patients with the right indications.
