Care Philosophy: Dr. Christopher deBorja, the chairman of UM BWMC's Department of Medicine, attended Loyola University, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in biology and graduated from the Ross University School of Medicine with his medical degree. He completed his internal residency program at Harbor Hospital Center, Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. deBorja is board certified and is a member of both the American Society of Internal Medicine and American College of Physicians. He has been practicing medicine since 1992. Dr. deBorja also offers the additional service of sports physicals.

Biography: Dr. Kunnackal John received his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from St. John's Medical College and Hospital in Bangalore, India. He was selected as a Rhodes Scholar in 2010 and went on to earn a master's degree in global health science and a master's degree of research in clinical medicine from the University of Oxford, United Kingdom. After receiving two master's degrees, Dr. Kunnackal John came to Baltimore, Maryland, where he completed his residency at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, following this with his fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He joined UM Shore Medical Group in 2018.

Care Philosophy: Dr. Larry Blum is a neurologist with the Spine and Neuroscience Center at UM BWMC. He received his medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine. He completed an internship in internal medicine, a residency in Neurology and a fellowship in Clinic Neurophysiology at Thomas Jefferson, University Hospital. He is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology.
