Care Philosophy: I am an orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee replacement, as well as surgical fixation of bone fractures. I am committed to providing compassionate care to my patients based on sound medical knowledge, good clinical judgment and experience. I am a critical thinker who believes that the key to good patient outcomes and great satisfaction is effective communication and mutual trust between the patient and the physician. Biography: I graduated from the University of Iowa College of Medicine in 1991 and completed my residency training at Regions Hospital in 1994. I enjoy working in the family practice setting and my special interests include the Family Centered Birth Project, breastfeeding promotion and colposcopy. I am also a clinical instructor with the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health in the Medical School at the University of Minnesota.
