Biography: Mary Caroline Young Imbs, DO is an Obstetrician and Gynecologist with Woman's Health Group in the Medical Center of Houston, Texas. Dr. Imbs received both her BBA in Marketing as well as her BA in Spanish from Southern Methodist University. She then went on to complete her Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from A.T. Still University Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Imbs completed her training with a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology from Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital.Dr. Imbs believes that practicing as an ObGyn is an honor and a privilege. She is able to use multiple treatment modalities, both medically and surgically, to improve the quality of life of her patients over long periods of time. She is able to treat the medical issues that come along with puberty, childbirth, menopause, and everything in-between. She feels fortunate to be able to develop life-long relationships with her patients in a setting where she can support them in both the best and worst of times.The most important thing to Dr. Imbs is her family. She has an adoring husband, 2 beautiful sons, and 2 mischievous dogs whom she loves. When she is not treating patients, she enjoys exercising, playing golf, making pottery, and finding any reason to be by the water, preferably with puppies close by.Dr. Imbs welcomes new patients and referrals.

In what other field can one have the joys of making long term bonds with patients and helping bring new life into the world? All I can say is that I love my job!During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two daughters, reading and working on home improvements. I also enjoy long distance running which is my solace. So far, I have completed two marathons and multiple half marathons and shorter races.

Biography: Dr. Bruce is passionate about Obstetrics and Gynecologists and working closely with her patients across the Houston-area to help them achieve their optimal health. Dr. Bruce went to Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, CT, and completed her post-doctoral residency training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, TX.

Dr. Shelton earned his undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Colby College in Waterville, Maine, and return to Texas to attend medical school at The University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas. His Ob/Gyn residency was completed at UT Southwestern Medical Center and Parkland Hospital in Dallas.He seeks to establish a long term physician-patient relationships that allow him to provide care for his patients throughout the evolving phases of women's lives. Dr. Shelton and his wife reside in Houston with their son and dog. His outside interest include travel, cooking, and following Houston sports.
