Care Philosophy: Marco Antonio Rajo, MD is a bariatric and general surgeon who is board certified by the American Board of Surgery. He is fluent in Spanish and English and helps patients ages 18 and older using surgical and non-surgical treatment options. He has advanced training in obesity medicine and weight-loss surgery, as well as in complex gastrointestinal and hernia surgery. He specializes in minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic techniques. Dr. Rajo was drawn to bariatric surgery because of the unique, lifelong patient-doctor relationship this specialty allows him to build. He places an emphasis on education, nutrition and exercise to move his patients toward their goals. Biography: Dr. Bogdana Trop is board certified in both general surgery and surgical critical care. She received training at University of Belgrade Medical School and completed her general surgery internship with Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami Medical School. Dr. Trop moved on to her general surgery residency at University of Nebraska Medical Center, then to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center for her surgical critical care fellowship. She is a member of Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma. Her primary areas of interest are trauma and critical care, as well as thyroid and colon procedures.

Biography: Dr. Matthew Mancao, MD is a board-certified Surgeon at HCA Florida Oak Hill Surgical Specialists. He completed medical school locally at the University of South Florida, as part of the SELECT program emphasizing Values Based Patient Centered Care and Health System Quality. Then, Dr. Mancao continued to serve the Tampa community during his general surgical residency at the USF Consortium/HCA GME Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point. He specializes in minimally invasive general surgery. Dr.Matthew Mancao is excited to bring excellent care by using the latest techniques and treatments based on scientific evidence.

Biography: Rebecca Gill, MD, FACS, is a board-certified general surgeon in the Port Orange/New Smyrna Beach area. After pursuing her undergraduate education at the University of Colorado in Boulder, she received her medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin and then completed her general surgery residency at Saint Louis University in Saint Louis, MO. Dr. Gill has a special focus on breast surgery, and believes strongly in personalized care, considering each patient's needs and ensuring they are comfortable with and well-informed regarding their plans of care. He received his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham, Alabama. He completed his integrated general surgery residency at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and fluent in all aspects of general surgery. Dr. Grove believes in a personal touch and makes it a point to contact his patients directly after surgery in case they have any questions or concerns. In his spare time he enjoys camping, scuba diving, and spending time with his family. He is also an active member with the Boy Scouts of America and has been awarded the BSA Silver Buffalo award and the Outstanding Eagle Scout Award from the National Eagle Scout Association.
