Care Philosophy: Coming to see the doctor can be stressful, so it is important that my patients feel comfortable and at ease when coming to see me. My goal is to build a strong relationship with my patients and in doing so, the best medical care can be achieved.

Biography: Dr. Blando is a board-certified physician, specializing in family medicine. She was born and raised in Manila, Philippines. After earning her medical degree from Emilio Aguinaldo College of Medicine, Dr. Blando moved to the United States, where she completed an internship and residency in Family Medicine at Flower Hospital in Toledo, Ohio. Dr. Blando enjoys the specialty of Family Medicine because it allows her to see patients of all ages with various needs. She gets great joy from seeing her patients get well and succeed in their goals. Dr. Blando believes that every patient has a story to tell and her role is to listen and learn as much from her patients as they learn from her. In her spare time, Dr. Blando enjoys swimming, reading, playing tennis and white water rafting. She is also fluent in Tagalog.

Biography: Damon Cobb, DO, FACOG, is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist at Damon Cobb OB/GYN, his private practice in Poway, California. He serves women from all over the San Diego area, listening intently to each of their needs and preferences throughout treatment. Dr. Cobb specializes in both medicated and non-medicated childbirth. Each new mother has unique expectations and goals for her birth plan, and he works tirelessly to meet or exceed all of them. Dr. Cobb received his doctorate in osteopathic medicine from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in Kansas City, Missouri. After graduating, he moved to St. Louis for his residency training at St. John's Mercy Hospital. He also completed a fellowship in cosmetic surgery through the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, where he attained extensive training in body cosmetics. Today, Dr. Cobb works hard to make sure that each of his patients is healthy and happy at each stage of life. He offers fertility treatment, IUD insertions, hysterectomies, and other services promoting women's reproductive health. Additionally, he wants to make sure that each woman is confident in her own skin. He uses his extensive training to also offer cosmetic procedures, such as SculpSure®, a noninvasive body contouring treatment that eliminates excess skin and fat. Dr. Cobb is currently accepting new and returning patients.

Care Philosophy: Dr. Shari Jacobs is a strong proponent of preventive medicine as it allows children to build their dreams and see them come true.

Biography: Ludmilla Ionescu, M.D., is a board-certified family medicine physician. She grew up in Moscow, Russia where she attended Moscow Medical Academy. Dr. Ionescu completed her internship at the State Scientific Center of Dermatovenerology (Dermatology) in Moscow, Russia before moving to the U.S. to start her Family Practice residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. Since she was a child, Dr. Ionescu wanted to become a doctor because of her idol, her father, a surgeon and Honored Physician of the Russian Federation. She grew up watching him work in the hospital and wanted to be just like him. Dr. Ionescu approaches her practice with the philosophy that you ``treat the root of the tree and not its leaves, and therefore listen to the patient so you can get to the root of the tree.`` She uses an individual approach to the diagnosis and treatment of each patient in order to get to the root of the problem. Dr. Ionescu treats her patients as if they are family and she enjoys seeing her patients go back to their normal lives, happy and healthy. In her spare time, Dr. Ionescu enjoys spending time with her daughter, traveling, sports, competitive ballroom dancing and Pilates. She is fluent in Russian and English.
