Care Philosophy: Weigong Tong, MD, PhD, specializes in hematology and general oncology, with special interest in malignant hematology and gastrointestinal and genitourinary oncology. Dr. Tong strives to provide cutting-edge, evidence-based and compassionate care to every patient, with treatment tailored to their individual preferences, goals, values and general well-being. He is a strong patient advocate and does his best to engage the patient, their family and caretakers in making informed care decisions. Dr. Tong is a member of the American Society of Hematology and American Society of Clinical Oncology. Away from work, Dr. Tong enjoys running and tennis.
