Biography: Dr. Reginald Manning, MD is an Orthopedic Surgery Specialist who practices in Brooklyn, NY. He has been practicing for 47 years. Dr. Reginald Manning, MD is affiliated with Newyork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital.

Biography: Dr. Jason Edwards serves as the Medical Director of Inpatient Rehabilitation and the Director of Brain Injury Rehabilitation at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. He is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Rehabilitation Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College and an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Rehabilitation and Regenerative Medicine at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. Dr. Edwards is double-board certified specializing in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Brain Injury Medicine. Dr. Edwards provides comprehensive neurologic rehabilitation and spasticity management for patients with traumatic brain injury, stroke, brain tumors, and other neurological conditions. He takes an individualized approach to rehabilitation, assessing each person's unique injury to then guide treatment choices to maximize function and quality of life. Dr. Edwards completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston/TIRR, where he served as Chief Resident. He completed his Brain Injury Medicine & Rehabilitation fellowship at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine/Shirley Ryan Ability Lab, where he was awarded the Shirley Ryan Research Accelerator Program Quality Grant for his work on vestibular dysfunction after traumatic brain injury. While at Northwestern, he also completed specialty training in Medical Education through the Feinberg School of Medicine.A frequent presenter at conferences on neurologic rehabilitation, Dr. Edwards has contributed to numerous scientific journals on brain injury. While at the Texas Medical Center, he was the host and moderator of PMReport, the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston's podcast exploring the latest trends and advances in the world of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. Edwards has received numerous awards for his work in brain injury rehabilitation:He has been recognized as a SuperDoctors New York Rising Star from 2021-2024. This honor represents the top New York doctors in more than 30 specialties that have been fully licensed for 10 years or less.He was also recognized as a Castle Connelly Rising Star (2023, 2024).NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital named Dr. Edwards as Physician of the Year for 2023.The Brain Injury Association of New York State recognized Dr. Edwards as their State-wide Medical Honoree for the 2023 March on for Brain Injury, recognizing his advocacy for persons with brain injury in New York State.

Biography: Chima D. Nwankwo M.D., also called "Dr. Chima" by patients, colleagues, and hospital staff, is a fellowship-trained and board-certified (ABOS) orthopedic trauma surgeon practicing in Park Slope, Brooklyn, New York. He currently serves as the division head of orthopedic trauma Surgery at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital and an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Columbia University. Dr. Nwankwo completed an undergraduate degree in Biology at the University of California Berkeley and received his Doctor of Medicine at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF). He completed a residency program in orthopedic surgery at the San Francisco Orthopedic Residency Program (SFORP at St. Mary's Medical Center). He received fellowship training in orthopedic trauma surgery at Allegheny Health Network/Allegheny General Hospital, a regional Level-1 Trauma center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and completed an AO Trauma fellowship during the same year. Dr. Nwankwo has expertise in the orthopedic management of patients with life and limb-threatening injuries from accidents, falls, or assaults. Dr. Nwankwo is an expert in pelvic and acetabular surgery, hip fracture surgery, complex long bone injuries, periarticular reconstruction around major joints in the upper and lower extremity, nonunion and malunion fracture repair, traumatic limb deformity correction, management of neglected fractures, treatment of bone infections (osteomyelitis), and acute and elective hip replacements. He is also at the cutting edge of using minimally invasive/percutaneous treatments for treating broken bones. Dr. Nwankwo is a member of the Orthopedic Trauma Association, AO Trauma, and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.

Biography: Dr. Nicholas Danford is an orthopedic trauma surgeon who treats people with orthopedic injuries. He loves to take care of his patients, working with the compassion and energy necessary for the best possible outcome. He graduated from Dartmouth College. His medical training was at Columbia University for medical school and orthopedic surgery residency, after which he completed a fellowship in orthopedic trauma at Harborview Medical Center, in Seattle, Washington.

Care Philosophy: My care philosophy is centered on providing the most advanced and most dignified care to my patients. As a surgeon, central to my approach is to limit surgery to patients only if all other viable options have been exhausted, and the benefits of surgery outweigh the risks. If surgery is absolutely indicated, the most focused and most minimally-invasive approach is taken.
