Dr. Criner attended Temple University, where she received her medical degree, and completed both her residency in orthopedic surgery and internship in general surgery at Temple University Hospital. She also completed a fellowship in hand surgery at NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases Orthopedic Institute. The focus of her practice is the adult (18 years and older) with injury or problems of the hand, wrist, elbow and upper arm. Dr. Criner is a part of Einstein Regional Orthopedics - SkS3. Dr. Criner is a strong proponent of education to empower individuals to opt for healthier choices and in effect improve their overall health. Biography: Dr. Shakked is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in the treatment of foot and ankle disorders. She completed her residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases and went on to complete a fellowship in Foot and Ankle Surgery at Hospital for Special Surgery in New York. Dr. Shakked has particular interests in ankle instability, athletic injuries of the foot and ankle, and treatment of cartilage injuries. She uses minimally invasive techniques including ankle arthroscopy and also performs total ankle replacement surgery.
