Biography: Keith Kerr, M.D., is a board-certified Neurological Surgeon based in Cypress, Texas with HCA Houston Brain & Spine. Dr. Kerr grew up locally in Spring, Texas, attending Klein Collins High School. He received his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin prior to earning his Doctorate of Medicine at The University of Texas McGovern Medical School. He stayed at McGovern Medical School to complete a neurosurgery residency at the affiliated Memorial Hermann Hospital Texas Medical Center.HCA Healthcare's core mission is something Dr. Kerr has taken to heart: Above all else, we are committed to the care and improvement of human life. He believes this is best accomplished by treating patients like family members. His drive to go into neurosurgery came from a desire to be there for patients and their families during their most trying times. The world-class training he received in the Texas Medical Center covered all aspects of neurosurgical care, and his goal is to bring this level of training and expertise to Northwest Houston and the surrounding area. Dr. Kerr is married to his wife, Annie, who is a Pediatrician with Texas Children's Pediatrics. They have two sons that he loves dearly, and a Chesapeake Bay Retriever named Ouisie. When he isn't spending time with them he is most likely at the golf course or duck hunting. Dr. Kerr is welcoming new patients and referrals.
