Dr. Cooper is board-certified in neurological surgery and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel from the U.S. Army in 2015. He earned his medical degree from the F. Edward Hebert School of Medicine at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, MD. He completed his internship and neurosurgery residency training at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and received additional, specialized training in Gamma Knife Radiosurgery and Stereotactic Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh, Department of Neurological Surgery.
