Biography: Dr. Wesley Hendricks, DO, is a board-certified general surgeon at HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Surgical Specialists. He started his academic journey at East Carolina University, where he completed his undergraduate studies in Biology and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree. He further pursued his interest in the life sciences by earning a Master of Science in Anatomy, Physiology, and Cell Biology from the same institution. Dr. Hendricks continued his medical education at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine, earning his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree in 2010. His extensive training culminated with a General Surgery Residency at Western Reserve Hospital through Ohio University's College of Osteopathic Medicine, which he completed in 2015. Biography: David A. Motola, M.D., is a board-certified general surgeon at Baptist Health. He is trained to manage a broad spectrum of surgical conditions affecting most areas of the body. He has expertise in bariatric and minimally invasive surgery and performs robotic surgery to address abdominal wall hernias, hiatal hernias, gallbladder disease and other foregut issues.
