Biography: Dr. Cesar Reategui Sanchez is board certified by the American Board of Surgery in General Surgery. He is fellowship trained in Colorectal Surgery and Surgical Oncology. Dr. Reategui Sanchez has a special interest and expertise in robotic and laparoscopic surgery for the treatment of colon and rectal cancer, diverticulitis and inflammatory bowel disease. Our office specializes in general surgery and surgical oncology. Our office welcomes new patients and accepts most insurance plans.

Care Philosophy: Amanda Burns, MD is a general surgeon with nearly a decade&rsquos experience providing surgical care for women. Dr. Burns specializes in breast surgery and she encourages patients to be actively involved in their health care treatment. Dr. Burns utilizes the latest techniques and procedures to provide the highest level of care for her patients. She is skilled in minimally invasive and hidden scar surgical techniques, nipple sparing mastectomy and breast conservation therapy. In addition, she also focuses on thyroid and parathyroid surgery, specializing in surgery for both benign and malignant processes. Dr. Burns also performs many other general surgery procedures, including minimally invasive hernia repair, abdominal surgery, and removal of skin lesions and skin cancers. She is proud to provide these therapies and her unique perspective to the women of northern and central Florida. In her spare time she enjoys biking, spending time with her friends and family and outdoor activities.

He attended the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham and was trained in general surgery at Georgia Baptist Medical Center in Atlanta. Following, he completed his laparoscopic surgery fellowship at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina. Dr. Eubanks was the first Minimally Invasive Surgery Fellow at Duke University, where he also served on the faculty for 10 years. Prior to joining Florida Hospital, he was Professor and Chairman of the Department of Surgery at the University of Missouri and served as the President of Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES). Additionally, he has presented, published, developed patents, produced videos and has been awarded or recognized for an unprecedented amount of research in advanced, minimally-invasive surgery and upper gastrointestinal diseases.

Biography: Milagros Fernandez, MD, is a board-certified general surgeon. After receiving her Bachelor of Science and Medical Degree from the University of Puerto Rico, Dr. Fernandez went on to complete a transplant surgery research fellowship at Auxilio Mutuo Hospital. She later returned to the University of Puerto Rico for a general surgery residency.A highly experienced clinician, Dr. Fernandez served as a general surgeon in San Juan, Puerto Rico for more than six years. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
