Care Philosophy: Ahmad Tarhini, MD, PhD is an internationally recognized physician and leading researcher in Melanoma, Skin Cancers and Immuno-Oncology. Dr Tarhini is a Tenured Senior Member in the Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute Departments of Cutaneous Oncology and Immunology. Dr Tarhini also serves as the Director of Cutaneous Clinical and Translational Research and leader of the Neoadjuvant and Adjuvant Translational Science Program. He is Professor of Oncologic Sciences at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. Dr Tarhini also serves as Chair, Scientific Committee, Oncology Research Information Exchange Network (ORIEN) and Chair, ORIEN ImmunoOncology Research Subcommittee.

Care Philosophy: Dr Yun recently completed a Hematology and Medical Oncology Fellowship at Moffitt Cancer Center. Dr Yun's clinical interests include management of patients with hematologic malignancies with a focus on Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) and Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). As a physician-scientist with clinical and basic research expertise in hematologic malignancies, his scientific career is dedicated to understanding and targeting molecular circuits that contribute to the development, maintenance, drug-induced cytotoxicity and resistance of Acute Leukemia.

Care Philosophy: Alberto A Chiappori, MD currently serves as Senior Member of Oncology and Medicine for the Thoracic Oncology Program at the H Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute in Tampa, Florida. He has been a member of the Thoracic Oncology Program at Moffitt since 2001. Dr Chiappori received his MD from the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia in Lima, Peru. After graduation, he completed his residency at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield, Illinois. He then went on to finish his fellowship and senior fellowship in medical oncology-hematology at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, Tennessee. Dr Chiappori has been Board Certified in Medical Oncology since 1997.

Care Philosophy: Dr Khushalani is the Vice Chair for the Department of Cutaneous Oncology at Moffitt Cancer Center. Dr Khushalani's clinical interest is the development of novel therapeutics for people diagnosed with melanoma and other skin cancers. He is greatly interested in the treatment of uveal melanoma, and melanoma that has metastasized to the brain. Dr Khushalani is interested in research on angiogenesis in melanoma and the translation of findings into clinical therapeutics.He is studying the economic impact of new melanoma drugs on healthcare (pharmacoeconomics) with an aim to devise strategies to reduce cost.Dr Khushalani earned his MD from Topiwala National Medical College, University of Bombay, in Maharashtra, India.

Care Philosophy: Dr Zhang received her MD degree from the University of South Florida, Morsani College of Medicine. She completed an Internal Medicine Residency at the University of South Florida, followed by a Hematology and Medical Oncology Fellowship at Moffitt Cancer Center and the University of South Florida, where she also served as Chief Fellow. Dr Zhang is a recent recipient of the ASCO Robert A Winn Diversity in Clinical Trials Award. Dr Zhang's clinical interests focus on improving patient outcomes in non-Hodgkin lymphoma through the application of personalized cancer treatment strategies.

Care Philosophy: Dr Michael Nieder is a Senior Member of the Blood and Marrow Transplant Department at Moffitt Cancer Center and Professor of Oncologic Sciences at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. He is also the Blood and Marrow Transplant Program Fellowship Director and the Inpatient Medical Director. Dr Nieder's research interests include toxicity reduction and supportive care improvements for patients undergoing transplantation. Dr Nieder is currently studying the intestinal microbiome in patients undergoing blood and marrow transplantation and is Principle Investigator of a nationally funded trial using probiotics in patients undergoing allogeneic transplantation.

Biography: Dr. Puri received her MD degree from Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Rohtak, Haryana, India. She completed an Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, Farmington, followed by a Hematology and Oncology Fellowship at Moffitt Cancer Center, Tampa. Dr. Puri joins us from the Huntsman Cancer Institute at the University of Utah, Salt Lake City, where she was appointed Assistant Professor in the Division of Medical Oncology. During her time at the Huntsman Cancer Institute, she served as the Physician Leader for the Thoracic Clinical Trial Research Group; in that role, she managed the ongoing and future clinical trial portfolio. We are excited for her to partner with Dr. Andreas Saltos in the role of our Clinical Research Medical Director to drive the clinical research vision and manage our trial portfolio. Dr. Puri's clinical interests involve treating patients with thoracic malignancies including non-small cell and small cell lung cancer. Her research interests include development of clinical trials for patients with thoracic malignancies with emphasis on immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and other novel therapeutics.
