Biography: Juliet Barker, MBBS (Hons), FRACP, is an Australian trained hematologist. Having been an Attending Member and Physician at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) and the Director of the MSKCC Cord Blood (CB) Transplantation Program, Dr. Barker has been recruited to Weill Cornell Medicine and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital as the Director of the Bone Marrow Transplant and Cellular Therapy Program.Over the last 25 years, Dr. Barker has worked to expand transplant access to minority patients with hematologic malignancies and has demonstrated the ability of cord blood transplantation to provide curative therapy for such populations without suitable adult donors. Dr. Barker's work in this area has been internationally recognized and she has published extensively concerning novel strategies to optimize access to donor transplants and cord blood transplant outcomes. Additionally, she has a special focus on optimizing complex health care delivery such as hematopoietic stem cell transplantation in under-served populations. Dr. Barker has advised the National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP) and is a member of the Advisory Council on Blood Stem Cell Transplantation to the Health Resources and Services Administration of the U.S. government. She has served on the American Society for Transplantation and Cellular Therapy (ASTCT) Board and led the national ASTCT Cord Blood Special Interest Group. Having previously served as Associate Vice Chair, Faculty Development, in the Department of Medicine at MSKCC, Dr. Barkeralso has a keen interest in academic mentorship.

Care Philosophy: "I am a medical oncologist with an expertise in breast cancer medicine. My focus is the multidisciplinary care and treatment of patients, especially those who have tumors that are high risk. Because I am a passionate advocate of personalized medicine, my goal is to develop new successful treatments that exploit our knowledge of the cancer genome and the immuno cell network for immunotherapy, in order to improve the outcomes of breast cancer patients. To do this, I actively participate in team science and recognize the importance of establishing strong connections with other disciplines involved in the care of patients and who are in the laboratory, as our goals are the same- to cure breast cancer. I view my patients as individuals and welcome open and inclusive communication when discussing treatment strategies as it is paramount they feel comfortable with an established treatment pathway."

Care Philosophy: I am a medical oncologist who specializes in cancers of the lung and thymus. I work closely with our multidisciplinary team of expert thoracic surgeons, radiation oncologists, interventional radiologists, palliative care/pain management specialists, and nutritionists to provide comprehensive care for our patients. I view each patient and their disease as unique and work to manage their treatment accordingly, always keeping their goals in mind. In order to provide new hopes for the future of lung cancer treatment, our division is also involved in clinical research focusing on precsion medicine, immunotherapy, and novel therapeutics as well as laboratory research to better understand this disease.

Biography: Rohit K. Jain MD, MPH is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine and Attending Physician at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital- Weill Cornell Medical Center. Dr. Jain earned his medical degree at Topiwala National Medical College and B.Y.L. Nair Charitable Hospital, Mumbai, India. He completed Internal Medicine Residency at Johns Hopkins University/Sinai Hospital of Baltimore and Hematology-Oncology Fellowship at Roswell Park Cancer Institute University at Buffalo, New York. After fellowship, Dr. Jain, joined the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida as Assistant Professor, and was instrumental in building the bladder cancer program. Dr. Jain was selected as Castle Connolly "Top Doctor" for 2024, as well as one of America's Best Prostate Cancer Oncologist by Newsweek magazine in 2024. Dr. Jain was recruited to Weill Cornell Medicine (WCM) in 2024. He cares for patients with bladder (urothelial), kidney (renal), prostate and testicular cancers, with a major focus in urothelial cancers. His research interests are primarily in urothelial and prostate cancers. Dr. Jain is involved in biomarker research as well as developing innovative clinical trials for patients, and he has received funding from the National Cancer Institute (NCI).

Biography: Dr. Lisa Roth is an Assistant Professor in the Departments of Pediatrics and Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine. She is also the Director of the Adolescent and Young Adult Lymphoma Program at Weill Cornell Medicine/New York Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Roth has been named the Charles, Lillian, and Betty Neuwirth Clinical Scholar in Pediatric Oncology. Dr. Roth completed her undergraduate work at Duke University. She received her medical degree from New York University School of Medicine. Dr. Roth conducted her residency at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell and her fellowship in pediatric hematology/oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and NewYork-Presbyterian where she served as chief fellow. Dr. Roth specializes in treating children, adolescents and young adults with lymphoma and leukemia. She is a member of the Children's Oncology Group and an active participant in Hodgkin lymphoma and non-Hodgkin lymphoma clinical trials. She is also a member of the Weill Cornell Center for Lymphoma, a group which is internationally recognized for it's leadership in the treatment of patients with lymphoma. Dr. Roth's research focuses on identifying new treatments for children with lymphoma. She is particularly interested identifying novel targeted therapies. Targeted therapies may be less toxic than conventional chemotherapy and may be able to rescue those patients with chemotherapy-resistant disease. Dr. Roth has been recognized for her work with awards from the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the Lymphoma Research Foundation, Hyundai Hope on Wheels Foundation, and the St. Baldrick's Foundation. Biography: Anna Pavlick, BSN, MSc, DO, MBA is a medical oncologist with over 20 years of experience treating patients with skin cancer, including melanoma, basal cell cancer,squamous cell cancer and Merkel cell carcinoma. She is also an expert in treating ocular melanoma, eyelid tumors and other rare solid tumor malignancies, including a research interest in neurofibromatosis-1 (NF1) malignancies. She is currently accepting new patients for both in-office visits and telehealth appointments.Dr. Pavlick was recruited to Weill Cornell Medicine as Professor of Medicine in the Division of Hematology & Medical Oncology. She is the founding Director of the Cutaneous Oncology Program at Weill Cornell Medicine and NewYork-Presbyterian. Dr. Pavlick's major research interests include investigating targeted therapies, combination therapies and immunotherapies. She also conducts outcomes research evaluating quality of life.Dr. Pavlick earned her medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ)-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School; her Master of Science in Human Anatomy from Fairleigh Dickinson University; and her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Nursing degree from Fairfield University. She completed an internal medicine residency at UMDNJ and hematology and oncology fellowship training at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. In addition to her undergraduate and medical training, Dr. Pavlick graduated from the Drexel School of Medicine Executive Leadership in Academic Medicine in 2012 and earned her Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Columbia University Business School in 2017.Dr. Pavlick has authored and co-authored over 100 publications and presented her research at international meetings. She serves on the several editorial boards, including The Journal of Drugs in Dermatology and The Journal of ImmunoTherapeutics of Cancer (Associate Editor). She is a member of leading oncology societies including American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), American Academy of Clinical Research (AACR), the Society for Melanoma Research, Society for Immunotherapy and Translational Research in Cancer and the European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO).
